Gluteal (Buttock) surgery

Buttock surgery

The augmentation of the buttocks is a surgery that was designed, developed, and perfected by Dr. Abel de la Peña since 1996, and its final objective is to increase the volume of the glutes and improve their shape. This augmentation can be obtained through fat grafting, hyaluronic acid fillers, or with implants.

Augmentation through fat grafting and liposculpture

The volume of fat in the buttocks is determined by genetic and racial factors, if this volume is greater than desired it can be reduced by liposuction in this area.
This procedure requires a disability time of 10 to 20 days.
Fat transfer to the buttocks is a procedure that is performed very frequently, generally accompanied by liposuction of various areas so that the result is more evident as a whole.
This procedure requires a disability time of 10 to 30 days.

Gluteal lift with implants

Over time, the effects of gravity and drastic weight changes may have a “dropping effect” of the buttocks as a consequence. With this procedure a lift to an aesthetic position is obtained.
This procedure requires a medical leave and recovery time of 20 to 30 days.

Gluteal lift with fat and traction

This procedure is performed on patients who have suffered a significant weight loss. The augmentation can be done with the patient’s existing fat tissue and the lift will be obtained through implants.
This procedure requires a medical leave and recovery time of 15 to 30 days.

Removal of modelling substances

The misuse of non-authorized substances to increase the volume of diverse regions of the body (glutes, breasts, thighs, lips) is on the rise and more frequent. Most often, this misuse causes a rejection by the body of the harmful substances, and this carries with it many problems that go from a change of surrounding tissues, to infections, a deformity of the region, and in some cases, even death.
